Eskyrim operates as an INDEX and DATABASE of MODS found publicly
on the Internet, in principle conducting in the same way as Google.
This site is not meant to infringe any of the copyrighted material, it
is simply here to encourage the continuing popularity of Mods and to
make it easier for the users to find it, However, we strongly believes
in the protection of intellectual property and would be willing to
assist when possible and applicable.
Mods in this Site are from
users who upload the Mods to these File sharing sites which Eskyrim is NOT in control or related to. Users who upload Mods to
these websites(Nexus, Loverslab, Tumblr, Tes-game.ru[yadi.sk],
Gamer-mods.ru[gavitex.com], Tesall.Ru, Googledrive, Mega, etc.) agree
not to upload illegal content when creating their user accounts. Eskyrim
does not accept responsibility for content hosted on third party
websites, nor do we upload mods ourselves or encourage others to do so.
The mods are linked directly from these third-party file sharing websites
mentioned above.
So you probably noticed that i removed more than half the posts and tags, and short answer is i will no longer work on this version and the full version only accessible to patrons now. Patrons will get access to the full blog (1800+) link indexed with full tags and the multiple filter plus the same mini special edition blog. The url will change every month and new link will be sent to the patrons through DM.
Long answer: First of all thank you to those who supported me in the past either with kind words or through patreon.
I have been running this blog for years for free without a single ad before i even launched a patreon but whatever passion i had for it dried long time ago and i was basically going through the motions to keep it floating, but at this point i can't justify the time waste or the indecision to start something else. I have wrote that i was laid off because corona but as i mentioned i am not in any trouble right now. I have been working 2 jobs for very long time and i have been saving up so i am better off than many others, but i also have no intention to spend that money just to pay the bills. So now more than ever i need to turn my time into something productive.
Do i think that people will really pay for such service? Maybe, I know there some people who really into armor mods for SS and other purposes. These people (like me) spend hours every now and then looking through multiple websites to find these stuff. So I do it and make it even easier by providing a lot stuff like tags/filters/bodyslide data links..
I don't think i am hurting or doing anything wrong by monetizing my blog, As some have already mentioned there tons of free alternative to eskyrim and i don't have any private mods on my blog. I have always linked the correct modpage and not to the download link. And never tried to mislead or steal credit from mod author so all the websites i browse is already known by everyone.
